IrritantGear POI handles/grips are constructed using the highest quality leather and materials we could find. We tested many different designs and construction methods before deciding that the classic loop design you see below provides the greatest comfort and reliability.

A note on safety : Poi-spinning of all kinds (fire, glow stick, bean bag, etc) is potentially dangerous. While these handles are constructed to be as durable as possible, they will wear out eventually. The buyer assumes all responsibility for using the handles in a safe manner, and must inspect them regularly for signs of wear or damage.

		Bison Leather POI Handles Bison leather is thick, strong, yet remarkably soft to the touch. Because of this, these handles have virtually no break in period. As a trade-off for this buttery softness, however, these handles will stretch out slightly over time. We use these handles on all our practice poi.

click image for measurements		Kangaroo Leather POI Handles Due to its dense grain, Kangaroo leather is the strongest light-weight leather in the world - about four times stronger than cowhide. These handes are rock solid, and will last you a along time. To take advantage of the strength and maximize comfort, we make our Kangaroo leather handles slightly narrower than our Bison ones, and have the nap (softer side) on the outside.
